Avoid at all cost

Though Aquatic seems to have the new construction and contracting industry underwater about the quality of pools that they build, they certainly do not have the residential community fooled. As many people as I know that have a pool built by Aquatic would quickly tell you that you do not get what you paid for. The work is not done timely nor is the "custom pool" anything that you thought you were getting. Once the contract is written and the check is cashed, you get what they want you to have. Oh, and by the way, be careful if you get a refund check from them-mine bounced ($2,000) Good luck on getting to swim in your new Aquatic pool in the same year that construction begins. Now, 2 years later, torn up landscaping, sprinkler system, plumbing reversed on pool (yes, it was sucking where it should have been blowing and blowing where it should have been sucking), the first year we uncovered the pool after the winter the tile had crumbled, the sheer descents never worked properly and the plaster looks like its about 10 years old. Did I mention that my children had swam in this pool for 1 year before we discovered that the slide was not grounded. This occured Yes, if you are looking for a nightmare, chose Aquatic for your next pool or spa.

ACCOLADES

Aquatic Pools built me a beautiful swimming pool and spa over 20 years ago .They are both of utmost quality and have exceeded our every expectations. They are both heated by solar, installed by Aquatic, which have made for greatly reduced operating costs. Anyone considering installing a pool or spa should definitely give Aquatic Pools an opportunity to excel again.

I was promised my pool would be done in 4 weeks. I was skeptical...but now we are in our 4th MONTH and my pool still has not been what I would call "complete". My solar panel has leaked since day one. I've made 9, yes NINE requests to get it fixed. I still have not been delivered a testing kit. My final inspection has not been done. I haven't been shown how to use the automatic chlorination system. I have the same issue with phone calls never being returned. They scheduled a service to come and winterize my pool two weeks ago Thursday. I took time off of work and they never showed. I made all of my payments on time. I screwed up and made the final payment thinking I had one more to go...I should have never done that! I do like the pool (even though I've only swam in it twice because it wasn't completed on time to take advantage of warm weather). The equipment seems to be quality...but nothing overcomes the gross lack of customer service this company perpetuates!

Boneheads at best....

As I read through all the reviews, I can relate to many if not all of them. There is not a lot of deep thinking going on within this company. Ron is a great guy, but his company gives him a very bad name. Extremely poor customer service, never answer phones or return phone calls when vm's are left. Now...in all fairness...When they installed the gunnite on our pool, they didn't bother to check the forcast and installed it during 40 mph winds which caused it to fracture badly. With a lot of squeaky wheels on our end, we finally got it fixed after the pool was filled but had to be drained and refilled. They didn't hook up the ground. They tore up a brand new cover by not thinking about what they were doing...and with some more squeeky wheels...the cover did get replaced. Sevice guys will tell you they will call you back and then never do. They hounded my contractor for $ at every step of the way without thought of where they were in the construction process. Now with all that said....we have really enjoyed the pool once it got working. Craftsmanship is shoddy in area's which bothers me but all in all...it has been about a 3. Lots of frustration that balances out the good stuff.

Squeaky wheels

You rarely hear from satisfied customers. We have no reason to go to a public forum to vent frustration. Yeah, just dig a hole and fill it with water. What could be simpler? Well, once digging and construction begins, there are certain to be some unforseen problems. I must say that from my experience, Aquatic Pools took care of every snag that was encountered. Yes, it would have been nice if all had gone entirely without a hitch or change in construction schedule. But there are many people at the buffet table and I understand it is impossible to completely please everyone. Also, it might be a good idea for the new pool owner to learn how to care for the pool. Correct water balance actually keeps the tile from falling off!

• Pros: Low maintenence remote operation good design
• Cons: Mainly a constructon company with limited sevice crew.

Poor pool services and customer service

Wrong parts, dont answer their phones.

hard to schedule services, they do not connect with the pool install base for

follows ups or Preventative maintenance..

If i were to do over again I would go with someone else.

• Pros: quality parts, install was fine, when you get through they are freindly,
• Cons: they dont answer their phone, post sale support terrible, unable to get my pool services since may.

Dishonest and Incompetent

The only thing this company did on time was cash my checks. They said they would be done in six weeks, they were not done in six months- after two years there are still issues they refuse to resolve. They said they could do the pool as we wanted, then after they cashed our first check, they started saying they couldn't do things they said they would do. When they finally dug a hole, they just left it for about three months. They said they would secure the site everyday, but all they did was lean two pieces of masonite against the hole they made in our back wall. There was never adequate supervision, and many mistakes were made, which they either tried to charge us for or still remian unfixed.

All in all, this was the worst experience in my life with a contractor- avoid these people like crazy.
