A good place to live. . .

We moved to Albuquerque in February of 2002. We bought a used mobile home in the park for the money that I had in my bank account. (not much) We could have bought a better one or one more expensive but I hadn't planned on staying in a mobile home for any length of time. We had decided to get a mobile home and stay in it until we found a home I liked, or till we decided whether we wanted to stay in Albuquerque.

It's just my wife and me, but we have family here with 3 grand-kids. There is plenty of room in the house for us even when the kids come to spend the weekend. And there's plenty of room in the park and amenities; pools and playgrounds. The park Is quiet and crime free, beautifully kept, with good neighbors, pets, the whole nine yards.

We've been here for almost 6 years and have no plans for moving. I never had any thoughts of living in a mobile home before. But, we love it here. It's a good place to live. There's lots of places to shop. There's a Smith's (Kroger), an Albertson's, a Wal*mart, and a Walgreen's in within a couple of minutes. There are all kinds of restaurants close. A convenience store, car wash and a cleaners attached to the park. It's a great place to live.
