Worst pedicure ever!

I definitely don't recommend this place! Terrible experience! I went to the La Bella at the Uptown shopping center expecting a 5 star experience and I was sadly disappointed! I was rushed through a pedicure by a grumpy woman that wouldn't even have a conversation with me! My polish was a disaster and I had to redo it once I got home! The massage was so quick I didn't even have time to relax and enjoy it! I tried to talk to the manager but she was no where to be found and hasn't returned my calls...I've tried La Bella a couple of times hoping things would improve! No such luck! They really don't know what good customer service is. The building is beautiful but the staff are far from excellence! I will never return. What a waste of money!

More than just a cut and style!

Its not just the fresh from the salon feeling that we left with. Its the feeling that we just had a great time with our friends! Dawn and Nam work so well together to make me and my daughter feel special. When we are there it is all about us. We like how much they both love what they do. I love my hair and my daughter (who looks like a rock star) cant wait to go to school in the morning to show off her new cut by Nam and color by Dawn! We love how great we look and how much we laughed while we were there! Thank you for helping us forget about our crazy busy lives if even just for a little while! OH- And thanks for the how to do this at home tips! We LOVE that!

I'd go back but to a different stylist.

I went into La Bella a few months ago to get my hair cut. I usually went to a girl at Aveda but she moved away and I needed to find someone else. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day, which was great. The not so great thing was they put me with a new hairdresser there named Nam. I don't want to sound mean, but after seeing all these reviews about how "great" he's supposed to be, I thought people should hear the truth from a REAL CLIENT. I felt like he didn't listen to what I wanted my hair to look like, I felt like he only cared to talk about himself, and over all I felt creeped out by him. The only reason I have not gone back in to get another haircut with a DIFFERENT stylist is because I want to avoid an awkward run-in with him! He is not cut out to be what all these reviews say, and honestly, they must be fake. I'm sad that my first La Bella experience ruined any future experiences in the salon department. Maybe some day I will take my chances again and be surprised!

• Cons: Was recommended to the WRONG stylist!

My stylist Nam

I've been getting my hair cut and styled by Nam for years. I have tried several different stylist, with poor results, but I've always found my way back to Nam. I live in the Alb. area and am very pleased to have him here, since traveling to his salon in Denver was very hard. I highly recommend Nam and will continue to use Nam for my wife and two kids. 5 stars, super awesome.

Deborah was Amazing!

I went into La Bella to get a Mens facial. I have never had one before and it was amazing! Deborah obviously knew what she was doing and gave me the best service I could ask for! I would recomend anybody to Deborah, Truly amazing!!!

whats up with all these reviews about NAM ITS almost as though hes coming on here and doing it himself . I would have to say ive been going to labella for years and hes not the only good thing there all the hairdressers are excellent the spa team has always givin me excellence service love the facials veronica your the best .and massages victor carrissa . and the color exxperts they have ther from andrea, to amy andrew ,melina, dawn ,rick, william and everyone else i love you all so i would say nam is not the only good thing

Great Eyebrow Wax

Although I've been a client of La Bella for some time, I had Debra wax my eyebrows today. I am so happy with them. I have very full brows with a high peak that I don't like. She really listened to the way I wanted them to look and she did a beautiful job. I haven't been this happy with my crazy eyebrows in a long time! Thanks, Debra!

NAM TRAN- The best stylist ever!

Nam was wonderful. I wanted something different and fresh but had no idea where to start. Nam gave me some suggestions and was patient. He gave me the best cut I have ever had! I feel like I can take on the world with my new updated look. When you look good you feel good......not just a cliche.

Nam is very talanted and up to date with his techniques. I am a very busy mom and it is nice to go in and have a little peace of heaven and come out feeling like a new woman! He is awesome ladies!

The most unprofessional Spa in NM

I went there 10 days ago (on Thursday) for signature manicure and pedicure. I was scheduled with a new manicurist who did a pretty bad job. I expressed disatisfaction at the front desk person and her response to me was "would you like to leave a tip". For having spent around $80 on the stuff, it wasn't just a waste of my money but also my time to have gone to such an unprofessional place. I have been to Betty's Bath several times and will definitely stick with them for everything. Unfortunately they don't do manicures/pedicures.

wait...William is AWESOME!

I'm so confused by the previous posts...and is it just me or do ALL of the reviews for Nam sound like they were written by the same person? It's the same syntax...anyways...

I just moved to ABQ a couple of months ago and was having a hard time finding a hair dresser. My boss recommended La Bella. I called to make my appointment and the girl's at the front were super nice. She asked me what type of cut I was wanting and I told her that I didn't know. At that point she recommended William. When I got there William was very nice and very professional. After a couple of minutes discussion he made a suggestion for my hair and I told him to do what ever he thought would look good. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED MORE COMPLIMENTS ON MY HAIR!!! It looks amazing. The cut was perfect and I have since gone back for a trim and color. I have sent all of my friends and co-workers to William and everyone of them loved the results.

Not only have we all enjoyed the atmosphere of La Bella but also Williams talent with hair, his humor, and his professionalism.

I would HIGHLY suggest that if you want a GREAT cut or color, that you go see William at La Bella Salon!
