as a long time customer (started with No Appointments) I have had good cuts & perms with just two exceptions:

1. a perm burned my hair: smelled burnt, reddish ends ( a few years ago) by a Master stylist at shop on Menaul & Carlisle in Albuquerque.

2. recent experience where stylist I'd never had before absolutely refused to cut my hair before the perm (?easier to roll this way I suspect!). I would have walked out if she had not already done the shampoo! No others in the past have refused when I specifically asked. Is this a new requirement for all stylists or can they make individual decisions as to when to cut hair?? The fast cut after the perm was uneven & not what I had asked for ... all this for $56.52 ?
