this is supposed to be the best!?!?

Ive been to this place twice. The first time we dined there, service was lousy, our waitress was to busy text messaging to look up and take our order after being there for 10 minutes (there were only 2 other tables) I ordered spicy red curry and was a little bothered that had you had to pay an additional $3 for white meat chicken. I have lived in Thailand, I have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the US. I have never been served anything but white meat in curries, and I certainly didnt have to pay extra for it... The food arrived and while it was very flavorful the chciken was tiny little reject looking peices, gross. my wifes order of spring roll yielded 3 tiny pieces, not exactly getting your money worth. Our second time we ordered to pick up, I tried shrimp curry this time. The shrimp were disgusting little pieces of rubber. It seems like this place would be OK if it were vegetarian fare only...If you eat here avoid ordering anything with meat...or just avoid going there at all
- Pros: close to my house, Thai Iced Tea
- Cons: indifferent service, chicken/shrimp is gross, overpriced
for ABQ, good Thai!

The Mandarin Chicken is great! So is the Pad Thai. I would recommend going for lunch or making dinner reservations. Dinner time isn't as fun because it takes so long for the food to come out! But at lunch the food is great and the value is great! I'd say one of the better (though not best) Thai places in Albuquerque.
not so great!!

we got there and the service was bad. then when our food comes, it looked good but was the worst thai food ever. no flavor! would not recommend and the price is too high for horrible food!! the location is scary!!
- Cons: no flavor, rude service, bad location
Highly overrated

The seating hostess a.k.a. waitress was extremely rude at the door, and completely careless afterwards. She was throwing glasses and dishes on the table, did not bring us water despite being asked twice and once approached the table while chewing rice from a bowl she was holding.
Now to the food: the appetizer (fish cakes) was very good. The soup (Tom Kha Gai, a.k.a. chicken coconut soup, my favorite Thai dish) was lacking lemongrass and prepared with tons of sliced white onions (yuckkkkkk!) instead of green onions. The pineapple seafood curry was not spicy at all (we asked for medium-spicy) and shrimps tasted like rubber. Overall, a disappointing experience. Avoid this place, there are other Thai restaurants in Albuquerque
- Cons: service
Great quality & great food

This is a small place on Central that serves really good food. The quality, taste, spice-level, service, and overall experience is definitely recommended. We have tried many Thai restaurants, and for ABQ, this one is one of the best !
- Pros: great food
