I was a little disappointed when I saw Prince Caspian. I was not as good as the first. (Sequels usually aren't) but I seemed to be lacking something.

Hmmmm. I went to see this film because I want to track the story (I haven't read the books) and I really enjoyed the first film. Sigh. Hmmmm. Yah. Go see it for that reason. I like that.

Pros: The original cast. Prince Caspian when he doesn't speak.

Cons: What story? Argue argue fight fight argue argue fight fight WIN!

The first Narnia movie was a very enjoyable experience. It had a very Christmas-like feel of finding a big surprise in a small package. Prince Caspian however lacked several things. One of my biggest qualms with it was the reusing of the The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe's soundtrack. Little effort was contributed to giving the movie a new sound. Another problem I had with it, is that I believe a sequel should be able to stand on its own and not base everything off of the ones before it. I do understand that they are a series, but I went with my friend Brooke and she had no clue what was going on. If it was more like Lord of the Rings then I think that they could have made the movies like that. However each movie has a very good conclusion and for them to start the next with no explanation for newcomers makes it quite difficult. Other than some other thins it was very entertaining. Very good animation and true enough to the book to satisfy the fans. Children will enjoy it and girls will swoon for Prince Caspian. Other than that it was an average movie that I enjoyed. -Tyler

Pros: Enjoyable and fun. Nothing special though.

Cons: It could have been a wonderful sequel if a little more effort was put into it.

We do not understand why everyone is saying it could be better. Now we havent even seen this movie but don't diss the movie. We also believe that if you're wasting your time to watch a movie it is your mistake, and therefore you shouldn't be dissing the movie because it was your choice to go. Also, because of that you're being very disrespectful and inconsiderate to the actors and everyone who helped create this movie. goodbye.

Pros: very very good. everything was amazing. awesomeness.

Fans of C. S. Lewis' books, The Chronicles of Narnia, especially the purists will be disappointed with Hollywood's latest attempt. If you've read the books you will find yourself saying: "That's not how it went!" It was hard to fully concentrate on the movie when I kept thinking, "But that came later! " Or, "They left that part out!" Unable to gain familar footing I followed the movie in sporadic fashion, attempting to put certain scenes where they belonged while doing away with others althogether, especially the castle attack. While it contained great fighing sequences it felt uncessary and more like padding to flesh out the film. The romance scene between Susan and Prince Caspian served only to annoy me because it just never happened. All in all, the film was good, just a bit messy because nothing was where it was suppose to be. See it, you WILL like it, especially if you've never read the books

Pros: Good acting, especially the fight scenes

Cons: Too much Hollywood for me

I discovered and fell in love with the magic of Narnia over 30 years ago and have read the entire set of books many times over the years. I enjoyed the movie, the special effects were outstanding and the acting superb! I do feel that the screen writers took to many liberties with the story (even more then were taken with the first movie) ! While most of the key parts of the original story were included many were taken out of order and out of context. I didn't care for the addition of the fight at the castle, which though quite spectacular really only added unnecessary darkness and violence. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good action movie. I would also recommend it to anyone who enjoyed reading the books with the warning that if you are a purest you may be disappointed.

Pros: the Visuals and acting are GREAT

Cons: the story line differs a bit to much from the book
