Smokehouse is horrible.
The new ownership does not know what they're doing. My kids both got sick after eating here. If you value your health, don't do it.
My prediction is they will be out of business within a year.

Good BBQ place. Generous portions, good selection of bbq meat and side dishes, outstanding french fries, several choices of cobbler for dessert. Positive staff, owner was working counter the day I visited. Good people, good food.

THINGS CHANGE - BUT NOT ALWAYS FOR THE BETTER. Unfortunately I am quite disappointed in the quality, portion size and overall "dining experience". Just short of $10.00 for a single lunch left me feeling "cheated". In the five months I was away from New Mexico, Smokehouse has turned from a "favorite" to a "drive by" and head down the road restaurant. The "best fries" in Rio Rancho have been transformed and now are far from portion and quality of "the old days". Little or no monetary "value" remains.
