The food is just ok . The owner/manager is an ass. The food is ok. I haven't been there in years because when I would go the owner/manager? would be in the front with a bad attitude. I don't remember the food being memorable, but do remember the staff being on edge because the owner/manager would be a jerk. It made for uncomfortable dining for mediocre food. Part of the dining experience for me is to relax and destress, not eat in an uncomfortable setting…
Far and away the best.. Careful, you'll dream of these burgers in your sleep. There's no better burger in New Mexico.

Relax with a great shake. I I love the Owl Cafe ! Their hamburgers are the best, juicy and filling. I love 50's style cafe's and the Owl is one of the finest. It's relaxing, they don't hurry you and they have great shakes and floats. If you are not a "hamburger" person, they have other things, i.e. sandwiches, salads and even mexican food on certain days.
