Avoid this man

My husband saw this dentist in July 2007 as did I. I, personally found him to be, as another commenter stated "a know-it-all" as he did spend the the first minutes stating how much my previous dentist sucked. Really professional.He also made disparaging remarks about my teeth telling me he knew I had a sweet tooth and loved acidic foods. I asked him why is that to which he responded "no reason".Very insulting man.

In addition, he removed my husband's wisdom tooth leaving his jaw bone exposed resulting in a painful dry socket. The nurse even asked the dentist if he would sew it up but he refused. He also refused to presribe my husband any pain medication stating that he wasn't " a pill pusher" the implication being here that my husband would use the pain medicine for anything other than to treat the pain this man caused. Not only that but the tooth removed cost over $300 in copay fees. I wonder what he charged the insurance. In comparison, my husband had another wisdom tooth removed by another dentist last week and it was only $41.80. Same insurance.

So please avoid this man.

Avoid this dentist

We initially went to Willoughby because our insurance was accepted there and it was close. He spent a lot of time telling us how bad our previous dentist was...he's a real know it all. He even told me my son needed dental surgery and braces though his teeth are straight and previous dentists said he would never need them. My real problem with them was the over billing which according to my insurance company they charge as much as 35-50% more than other offices in the area. When I tried to inquire about the bill they gave me the run around. All I wanted was a print out of what was billed and what was paid by the insurance...they never complied. The office manager, Antoinette is completely incompetent. If you try to ask questions she completely talks over the top of you. She is unhelpful and rude. Our insurance had a scheduled payment plan for a root canal and instead of waiting for the payment and then billing us they sent the whole thing to collections. They have been a complete nightmare to deal with.
