If you don't like good service, you'll love this dump!.
The food is just awful! I found hair in my food and the service was terrible. Do they have a law against hiring good people????? I guess so! Ya, you get plenty of food you can't even eat. Oh what a deal!!!!
Enjoy!

If you believe in cleanliness, don't eat here!.
“Murphy's Mule Barn” is located next to my place of business. One day, I went to eat there with a friend. Needless to say we were disappointed. My friend found hair in her mashed potatoes! She didn’t complain when she found the first hair, but she definitely lost her appetite when she saw a second hair as she went for a second bite. The chef or wait staff shed all over her food. When we confronted the waitress about it, she didn't seem appalled by the amount of hair found in my friends food…I guess hair must be part of the ingredients!

Mixed feelings......
First of all ---- Food was fantastic!! Home made sausage was great. OUR FIRST TIME HERE...and although the waitress was very nice, the service needed help! It took quite a while to get our coffee and even longer to get our meal. It was beyond the border of reasonable. The line to pay was not a happy line, went all the way to the kitchen! They need more help, that's for sure! I'm willing to go back again, maybe on not so busy of a day to try one more time.....the food is what makes this place!!

Get colossal portions of down-home country cooking in a North Valley diner where the waitress calls you hon..
In Short
Dusty caps advertising farm equipment and well-worn overalls are de rigueur among the clientele, most are regulars, chatting with the waitresses who greet them by name. The portions, here, are colossal. The immense, three-egg breakfast burritos are filled with hash browns or potatoes and your choice of sausage, ham or bacon. Chicken-fried steak comes with a heap of French fries or mashed potatoes sitting in cream gravy. The fries are always crispy, and a lady called Granny makes the cakes.

Down Home Cooking.
I frequent the Mule Barn several times a week for lunch or breakfast and it's great. The waitresses are friendly and prompt, bus service folks are great and the food plenty and tasty! The homemade soups are my favorites. Especially the Chicken Noodle Soup on Wednesday, complete with homemade noodles. It's also very reasonable to eat there. For two it generally averages under $12.00. Can't go to McDonalds for that! Try it!

WHAT OTHER RESTURANTS????.
No two coffee cups are the same, no fancy resturant furniture none of that unnecessary stuff you see elsewhere, you don't need it. WHAT YOU DO GET is lots of food for a small price and all the waitress are like mom. The atmosphere and the food just can't be beat anywhere for any price.

HEE-HAW.
Good food, and a lot of it at a very good price. They give doggy boxes for what you can not eat there! They are just good people.
