No Longer In Business. This site should be taken off as this business is no longer in business and hasn't been for a long time.

save your money and time. We went there, expecting a nice dinner and were sorely disappointed. (The name "great" was enticing, but we should have read the reviews on the internet before venturing out!!) The facility is in poor condition - old, dirty and in very poor repair. The tables and chairs are old and the floors looked like nobody had cleaned them in weeks.

The food was especially disappointing and it was expensive! The rolls were tasteless, dry and cold. The coleslaw was very bland. The beans tasted like they were out of a can with a lot of chili powder added. The baked potatoes were questionable. They looked like they were probably micro-waved. They were served with tasteless sour cream and margarine, not butter. We ordered steaks and they arrived lukewarm.

And we waited for over 30 minutes for our meal to be served. The wait staff seemed to be very unprofessional and disorganized. (The only bright spot in this dining experience was that the busboys were very friendly and told us, "have a nice evening!" when we left. We bid them to do the same!)

We will not go back. There are a lot of other great restaurants in Albuquerque where the food is not as expensive and a lot better tasting, as well as wonderful atmospheres.

Substandard experience. We have eaten here several times in the last few years. My wife and I rarely get the chance to eat our meal at the same time because steaks are either over cooked or under cooked. There is no atmosphere except the view and only if you are lucky enough to be seated upstairs. The menu is pricey, with limited side choices and appetizers. We had to ask for the bread before our meal, our water was served in a ridiculously small plastic cup, which is not in keeping with the prices, and french fries are not available on the dinner menu. Our last visit to this restaurant was last night when we were told that cocktails were no longer available, only beer and wine. We could not be seated upstairs to enjoy the view or mixed drinks because the a/c was broken. This will be the last time we waste our time and money here. We will only dine in places that want to cater to their customers.

A very pleasant place to relax and enjoy some good food.. The food is very good, but what we most enjoy is the pleasant atmosphere and the highly professional service. This is a place you can go for a meeting or a celebration and thoroughly relax. If you try it once, you'll be back again and agian.

Just the Best. Short and simple...simply the best Steakhouse in Albuquerque*, especially for families. The steaks are tender, and always cooked precisely to order. Their chicken fried steak is enormous, easily a dinner for two to share, if both have the tasty accompanying baked potatoes (big as Idaho), slaw, and beans. Rather hidden away, in the small shopping center, NE corner of Tramway Blvd., and Indian School Road. You will not be disappointed!

(*With the exception of the outrageously expensive Rancher's Club in the University Hilton.)
