I love southwest childcare. My kids have been to all three locations and they are all equally exceptional. There is lots of structure and hands on activities for my children's exploration. The food is excellent as well with caring cooks that take pride in the food they make as if it was for their own family! Homemade!
Caring, loving, structured. When our third child was born my husband and I had decided that we had it with daycares for our children so I quit my job and stayed home. After almost 4 years of being a stay at home mom I was finally able to fulfill another dream and start Nursing Clinical which meant our 4 year old would have to go to daycare. We looked and decided on Southwest Child Care. I am in my second semester and I am so happy that we put our child at this childcare! The staff is amazing and truly cares about my child and us! I called the first couple of weeks and checked on him and they always took the time to go and check and even allowed me to talk to him. He is very happy and has learned so much! He knows how to spell his name, ABC's, songs, spanish (which I don't even know), and he is even reading his older brothers easier books! When I leave him I never have to worry that he won't be taken care. I can walk away with a smile and look back and see him smiling too! There are still those days that he cries when I drop him off (because he misses mommy) but on those days I never have to ask the staff to help they always know what to do! The snacks are nutritional and the cook is wonderful too! Thank you Southwest Childcare and staff!
"POOR MANAGEMENT PRACTICES". My 2-rd old child was enrolled at SouthwesSouthwest Child Care Centers which had not provided an, adequate, organized, structured learning environment for my 2-yr old. As a result, there was a high level of "misbehaving" among students. My daughter was bit 7 times in a month. Each time I spoke with management regarding how they planned to address the issue. I was told it was normal but they would employ some strategies. She continued to be bit until they disenrolled her because I, her mother, would not take "Normal" for an answer. I felt that there is no parent involvement. There is no music or sports. The nutritional segment of the program for which my daughter was involved often consisted of fast-food days. Overall, from my own personal experience, I felt that the level of the learning environment was poor. Upon some research I found the teacher to student ratio was not as good as other schools. The cleanliness of the school was not good. I would highly suggest reading more reviews on this facility before making decisions.t Child Care and not properly cared for due to a lack of knowledge
