OK Food, Terrible Service. We keep going back and giving them another chance, yet we keep getting the same TERRIBLE service. Last night was the worst so far. We had 4 adults, and a 20 month old. When we got to the restaurant they told us a 15-20 minute wait, and it took 55 minutes to get seated. The hostess was rude when we asked her how much longer. Once they took us to our table, the waitress was rude and rushing us to order before we were able to sit down. We ordered our meals, and asked for a small side of rice for our daughter. When we received our bill, they added 20% gratuity and charged us $5.95 for the rice. When we asked why gratuity was added, the waitress said it was because we had five people eating. I would have no problem leaving a tip if the service was at least decent, but she was rude the whole time, and we were often left with empty drinks. We were shocked how expensive a side of rice was for a child. Overall bad customer service, food is marginal, and don't think we'll be giving them another chance.

Driest and disgusting taste. Do not be fooled by the Japanese waiters. I have never had such dry and enormously wide pieces of sushi. This is very overpriced for the quality ($65 for 2). RUN FAR AWAY. Go to Shogun sushi for the real thing!!!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. We had a $300 tab, waited a half hour for one round of drinks and an hour for our food, had to flag down a manager to get a round of waters, and were JUST STARTING OUR ENTREES, and here's what happened:

-They put our ticket on our table and told us that we had to pay out now because they were "closing the register". Didn't even offer us another round of drinks, and our glasses were empty.

-They ran a vacuum cleaner right next to us.

-They put a dirty plastic bussing container ON TOP OF THE TEPAN GRILL as we were eating and started piling dishes into it.

-They turned off the music and turned up the lights.

We complained to a server and got no response other than "sorry". The manager was giving us dirty looks as he walked around the restuarant turning up the lights. We were so flabbergasted that we were laughing as this was all happening.

There was another group near us who were given the same treatment - and they didn't have their entrees yet - the chef was still at their table as they were paying out.

I've never been treated so badly in a restaurant in my life.

Go to Azuma. Go to freakin' McDonald's. Go ANYWHERE but here.

If you Eat Here Ask for Chad !!!. I go to this resturaunt alot and most of the chefs are very poor quality... I had Dahn pronounced Dan last night and his food was tasteless and poor quality .. I will return for Chad and will only have him cook for my family and guests!!!! NO OTHER orelse the stars would BE 1!!!!

Happy Take-out Customer. I ordered take out on Saturday, April 26, 2008, A California roll, A Tiger Roll, Edamame and Miso Soup. I've only been able to taste and appreciate this type of food in Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe, ARizona areas, so based on that, I have to give this place 4 stars, because the food was delicious! EVen as take-out! It was perfect. When I saw the inside was pretty nice, I kicked myself for not going in but I was not able to because of time constraints on that weekend. I plan to check out other places when I go back to BRQE, but I definitely wouldn't mind coming back to this place, even if it's just for take-out like last time.

Not so good sushi. Sushi is ok. Had a Funny taste to it. Not just one roll but all 5 rolls i ordered. Trust me I know sushi. Wasn't as fresh as other sushi bar. It seems that the fish was frozen then thawed incorrectly. And for the pickled cucumber inside the sushi.... come on.... it ruin's it totally. Sushi rice was dry on that day. Ordered sukiyaki beef there also. Wasn't happy with it at all. It's a sweet broth with veg, tofu, noodles and beef. Don't even talk about the beef. It was just steamed and put on top of the dish. No flavor what so ever on the beef. Who eat steam beef? I ain't paying $13 for steam beef.

Too busy for Customers. This is the WORST experience in a sushi bar, EVER!

The waitress was too busy cleaning & re-setting. It took her 20 minutes to get back to us for drink refills.

Then 2 waitress' start arguing with the Sushi chefs!

Sushi chef told the waitress "I CANNOT HANDLE VERY MUCH".

2ND Sushi chef too busy cleaning up to help make sushi. There was a lot of talking & no working & "drinking" behind the sushi bar.

Had to wait over 40 minutes before we got food. When we got our first roll, it was something we had not ordered.

Salad came last.

Had to ASK for last roll.

No manager on duty.

Hostess did all she could to help....but she was limited.

I see that they've had some good reviews......I hate to rain on the parade. I'm sure they're good when they're good....but when they're bad.........OYE!
