Excellent Mexican Food

Love this place because it is a small family owned business. They are easy to get to from Eldorado High School after picking my kids up. Their prices are very reasonable, and their service is always excellent.

Authentic, Reliable and Reasonable

Excellent wait staff. Well-run sit-down location of a mini-chain of local restaurants. The family's Old Town location is an historic favorite of locals. We moved away more than a decade ago, but we always go to Garcia's when we're back in Albuquerque. You can depend on everything on the menu. The breakfast-anytime items are traditional favorites. We love the blue-corn enchilladas with beef and "Christmas": chile -- both red and green -- and the carne adovada burrito, hot and delicious. And, it's very reasonably priced.

• Pros: Family atmosphere. Always good, authentic New Mexican fare.
• Cons: Chile rellenos only on Wedesday, Friday.
