HORRIBLE!!!!!. Although the coffee is good and the staff is nice, the old lady, who i believe is the owner, is VERY rude and mean to not only the workers, but the customers too. She is a booble-headed witch!

Best coffeshop in Albuquerque?. The best coffee shop and pastries i've found in the Burq so far(4months in "the duke city")- and consistently good in the dozen times I've walked in in the last month.

The DG is a small, quirky mom and pop shop that serves the best espresso and excellent pastries. I haven't been impressed with the few breakfasts i've had. But then again, i've stuffed myself with scones before the breakfast showed, so i may be unfair. There are only a half-dozen or so pastries, but all have been great, even if not as amazing as the scones.

I should mention that I am an espresso snob- seriously. (have my own overpriced machine, buy imported beans directly, and as a chemical engineer know all the fancy pseudo-science involved). I've even gone to the trouble of trying espresso at the Grind at 8am and 4pm on the same day- both great so I can confidently recommend the spot.

Cool new place on Central. Cool new place on Central...... Downtown keeps getting better. As a native New mexican I can say the downtown area is growing with leaps and bounds and this place is just wanted it needed. I had the best waldorf salad that was out of this world. I totally blew my new years resolution with their desserts..... I would say it is a must stop is you are in the area!

GREAT FIND ON CENTRAL!. The other day I was wondering down Central passing all the typical coffee houses and 8,000 starbucks. I came across a true find, The Daily Grind. What a treat, the food was great, I had the breakfast burrito and a world famous scone, yummmmm!! The coffee was out of this world. Oh, the address listed here is not correct, I believe they are at 414 central ave. just down from the artichoke..... This is a don't miss place!

BEST SCONES IN THE STATE!!! MAYBE IN THE WORLD!!. Wow, what a great place! The atmosphere is so fun! The food is amazing. Everything I have tried is always so fresh & good, I could go on for ever about it! Much better than the over talked about "Flying Star"! The employees are so pleasant and make you feel like, "Norm" from Cheers, always welcome!! So if you are looking for a great breakfast, lunch or just an amazing cup of coffee stop in and enjoy, I am sure just like me you will soon be a regular!!
