Best Hamburgers and Burritos, Non expensive, not crowded at night. Great service, they never forget that you are there. Great hamburgers and their curly french fries are phenomenal. Recommend going there to anyone. Im even going there today!
It's not fancy, but this cool retro drive-in serves enormous, delicious portions..
In Short
Outside, carhops take food to diners in parked cars. Inside are comfy red booths and black-and-white tile floors. The cool, retro jukebox gives equal time to bizarre bagpipe tunes and Jerry Lee Lewis. Quarter-pound burgers are piled high with crisp lettuce, thick-cut tomatoes and a special sauce. Order a large drink and they bring you something about the size of Montana, but you'll need it to wash down your mountain of curly fries or tater-gems.
good find. it is a local favorite and secret until now i would eat there forever and not get tired of the food
Best Green Chile. Hurricane's has the best tasting green chile (that's not mouth blistering hot) in Albuquerque. I lived in New Mexico for three years and ate a lot of green chile, but Hurricane's recipe is the most tasty of all I tried. Truly. You don't go there for the ambiance. You go there to eat good, cheap mexican food. Not to mention, have you ever eaten at a mecican joint that smothered their burritos with french fries? Thought so.
Breakfast Burritos with umph. Order a breakfast burrito from Hurricanes and you will quite possibly never order one anywhere else. They serve you a huge burrito any way you want it, green or red chili, bacon, potato, cheese, Im getting hungry just talking about it. Do your tastebuds a favor!!!
