In Short
A barrel motif applies throughout the restaurant, and at busy times the acoustics can make you feel you're dining in one. With this in mind, you may want to request a table near the salad bar or, if you like music, by the dance floor. Specialties include prime rib, steaks, lobster and crab legs. Shrimp here are plump and firm. The restaurant also prides itself on the soup and salad bar that comes with every meal. Entree portions are moderate, so feel free to fill your plate.

I have eaten at the Cooperage many times over the past few years. The service, cleanliness and the salad bar have all much improved in the past year. As for the "church lady", I think we must have had the same waitress - her skirt was practically up to her chin and was just plain tacky. I'm sure the male reviewers didn't mind it. The salad bar was wonderful the last time we went and the food is great. The shrimp are huge and one definitely has plenty to eat! The ambience is nice although a little crowded in some areas. The service was good and no sign of the band-aid skirt thankfully. Highly recommend it.

The Cooperage was awesome. I also thought the prime rib was the best in town. My husband got the lobster tale and it was large and fantastic. We just moved here from Florida and know what good seafood is all about. The salad bar was extensive and everything looked fresh on it. Our sides were great also. The potatos were cooked just right and loaded to the brim. As for a lady writing a bad review on something she got as a gift- from her church no less? Why are churches giving out gift certificates? And making a complaint to corporate? If she was really into serving others she would decline the gift certificate and send the money to an organization that feeds poor children on thanksgiving or Christmas. What kind of church gives expensive gift certificates to members? Donations should be given to the needy. I thought the Cooperage was great and friendly and didn't see any clothing worn that was not acceptable. I for one would like to have a review of the church she goes to so I don't recommend to anyone to attend. Really, broadcasting shady church ethics on the internet- Church lady, be ashamed of yourself. Call me if you want 505 459 0269. I would love to hear the name of that church.

We go out to eat often and Cooperage was recommended to us several times so we decided to go there. We were very pleased with the atmosphere, the salad and soup bar and our waitress was awesome. The owner even came by our table to see that everything was ok. We could not have asked for a better place to dine. So many places are noisy but this was not. The prime rib as the best I have EVER had and the baked potato was loaded. We were very impressed and will return again as well as recommend Cooperage to others.
