I have given abc bakeries so many opportunities to get things right, but the last straw was when I ordered my grandsons birthday cakes we went to pick up on day of party they did not have them. They are very rude inconsiderate and can not be trusted do not go to the business, they lie and cheat there customers!

Doubled my price. In two weeks they doubled the price of the exact same cake from $80 to $160!! This is the second time they've increased the price on me from what I was quoted. Can't be trusted. It doesn't matter how good of a product they had a year and a half ago for my wedding, the new management is unprofessional and even hung up on me!! Not worth ging back to.

So sad. It is so sad what has happened to this once great shop. Their cakes are now overpriced, often stale, and it is hit and miss on decorations.

WORST CAKE I'VE EVER PAID FOR!. I ordered a cake from this company to surprise my partner for his b-day biggest mistake i've made! Just picked up a cake that is suppose to feed 30 people yeah right! I will be lucky to feed 10. I payed $86.00 for a tiny cake that looks like crap. I am very dissapointed! When I spoke to the manager Ericka there was nothing she could do. Absolutely ridiculous!This place is a rip off! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR ANY SPECIAL OCCASIONS THEY WILL RUIN IT!

Cake, Icing Terrible and Almost No Decoration. We recently returned to Albuquerque after a 13-year absence, and apparently this place has changed ownership or management.

They were always good quality and dependable, almost always exceeding requests, in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

We wanted an angel-food cake with fresh strawberries in the middle, but the dumb clerk on the phone didn't know what that was. So, we ordered the small "festive" sheet cake for about $30.

When we picked it up, we were so disappointed that we asked for a refund or adjustment, and the very rude clerk refused. The cake looked like it had been decorated by our 10-yr-old, with almost no decorations. Our family and friends ate only a few bites of their pieces, and even the kids left most of their slices on their plates.

The cake was heavy and the icing was greasy, not at all the "butter-cream" frosting we paid for. It was supposed to be a "strawberry" cake, but it tasted like the indeterminate fruity flavoring common to dollar-store, made-in-China snacks -- definitely not fresh, and it left an awful after-taste.

We asked to speak to the owner, but she hid out in her office.

From other reviews that recounted encounters with her, we're probably lucky we didn't see her face to face.

Nice looking cakes but not impressed!!!. I am new to Albuquerque and LOVE cupcakes and have been making it a point to visit the top cupcakes locations in the area. This seems to be a great cake place but I wasn't impressed with their cupcakes. They didnt taste fresh and were not moist at all!!!

Not lIke it used to be - try someone else. I've used this bakery since the mid 80's and never thought of going anywhere else. They've changed owners and now the cupcakes are microscopic at the same price. Anything you order has an extra price attached to it. Seriously, it's not the same bakery, not the same old fashioned customer service like it used to have. I will not shop here any more. Too bad. Don't waste your time or your money. There are better bakeries in town.

Horrible Customer Service!. Sure their cakes taste good but after they lost the ticket for two separate cakes we ordered on two different occasions I will never order a cake from ABC again!

First they lost the ticket for a baby shower cake I ordered the day of the shower and had to put together a version of the cake I did not pay for. Then 3 months later I ordered a graduation cake and called a few weeks before the event to make sure they had the ticket (I was not taking any chances this time) and they lost the ticket AGAIN! Unbelievable! After they took the reorder I called a few days later and they lost the ticket A SECOND TIME! They claimed they had no record of the cake (even though the money was taken out of my account already and I had a receipt). Everyone I talked to was incompetent and did not care at all about this. Even the manager was not taking the situation seriously. The graduation is tomorrow and I am hoping my cake will be there but I am NEVER GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN!!

A bit pricey but WELL worth it!. they made my wedding cake with only a week's notice, and it tasted fantastic! It was a bit expensive for such a small cake, but the taste was worth it!

The best tasting cake I've ever had!. Beautiful wonderful cake. A little pricey but absolutly worth the money. The best tasting cake I have ever had!
