Great care for my great dane pup. Expensive compared to my regular vet but well worth it to know that my puppy had the best care possible.

Good pet care when you really need it! The staff and vets at this hospital are there to help your pet 24/7. We had to take our kitty in after she was hit by a car and they were so supportive during this horrible accident. We appreciated their expertise and straightforward information about her condition. We will definitely be back with our other cats if there is an emergency in the future.

KILLED OUR DOG!. THEY KILLED OUR DOG... Took our diabetic chocolate lab in on a Sunday in a diabetic coma. They wanted to keep her for a 12 hour period. Kept saying how many critical patients they had. Basically they tossed our dog in a cage, and let her lay there. We went to pick her up at MIDNIGHT and it took them until 2:00 to give us back our dying dog. Billed us over $400. By the time we got our dog to our regular vet Monday morning, they said she was too far gone to save, and we had to put her down. I called the hospital administrator, who said she would check into it and call me back. She did and said they were busy opver the weekend. She then said she would look into our problem and call me back. SHE NEVER DID. A LL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware the billing practices. The animal care was good in an emergency on a Sunday; the billing practices are NOT. The initial deposit was paid for on a friend's credit card ($1500) which was authorized by the cardholder. Subsequently, the card was charged for additional funds in excess of $1600 (NOT authorized by the cardholder) for which promissory notes had already been signed, and payments already made toward the total. When these charges were reversed by the bank, the clinic resubmitted the charges and claimed they had paperwork authorizing the charging of the credit card. So far, proof of this has not been forthcoming.

Straight truth. I believe I was at the Albuquerque Animal Emergency Clinic the day that annemck653 was there to pick up her dog. Bit by a rattlesnake? She was very loud in her complaints about the bill and it seemed the receptionist was overwhelmed. From what I gathered the lady, in a nutshell, didn't want to pay for the services the Emergency Clinic rendered. Yes, the Emergency Clinic may seem to charge more for their services, but they are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even holidays. I am very grateful that they are available for all of my emergency needs. They are the only clinic in Albuquerque that offer such services. This lady should be thanking them for saving her dog. The doctors and staff are great!

Exhorbitant prices--care more about the money than the animals?. I signed an estimate of charges for from $642.78 to $697.85. When I went in the next morning to pick up my dog..I was given a bill for over $1600. I was told I authorized the additional over the phone the night before in added services. I said, I certainly never authorized, or was consulted for $1000 !

Much more time was spent at initial consult, in getting me to sign for bills, than talking about what my dog needed.
