go for the beer, avoid the food.
Stopped in here one evening after work. Beer selection was great and wait staff was polite and attentive. This cuisine is basic bar food which wasn't well prepared. It was quite greasy and didn't particularly taste like anything...thank goodness for the miscellaneous bottled sauces to make it edible. Definitely go if you want a great beer selection to choose from. Just eat elsewhere.

This huge bar packs 'em in with great happy-hour specials and the best beer selection around..
The Scene
Billy's is absolutely huge, an important detail on weekends when you're not likely to find a table at other area bars after 9pm. Outdoor types will find the wraparound patio a welcome attraction: It's covered during the winter months and heated on chilly nights. Armchair athletes love the numerous televisions scattered throughout the bar, ensuring patrons won't miss a second of the game.
The Draw
Nestled in bustling Northeast Heights, Billy's may be the city's most popular happy-hour hangout. With one of Albuquerque's largest beer selections, if Billy's doesn't stock your favorite, it's probably not made anymore. The lengthy menu consists of basic bar food like burgers and grilled sandwiches, along with salads and loads of appetizers.
