Average. This is a very average steak house. I ordered Texas Chili for my soup and it had a very strong, bitter flavor. My steak was a 6 oz. filet and it was cooked the way I ordered it. It was also very tender, but not a lot of flavor. The wine selection was very limited. I selected a cab and it was not good.

Best Waiters!!. I would have to say that my waiter at Texas Steakhouse was truly amazing. Her personality and nature really helped lift spirits and made a wonderful atmosphere for me and my other diners. I noticed that other waiters were also very cheerful and full of life.

The food was over priced-- it came in about ten minutes, really fast! but I want quality-- not quantity or less time consuming... If they would have spent more time in making the food better quality and not microwave zapped, I would have appreciated my meal better.

satisfied customer. one of the nices restaurants i've been to in a long time. the portions were well sized the food was outstanding. the atmosphere our waitress patty was friendly and very effiecent and i will strongly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. and haved them ask for patty she made a customer for a long time to come. peter santillanes

Smoked Steak rocks!. The smoked steak is well worth the price! You will fall in love with it. Can't beat a baked potato with it either.

Best Texas service outide Texas. Stopped by on a business trip due to the name, encountered great friendly service and the food tasted great. When I told the manager I was from out of town, he offered a free dessert and coupons for the next visit. I stop by all the time ever since when visiting Albuquerque.

Good food, good friendly service.

GREAT FAMILY PLACE. Great place to bring kids, a nice warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. Great steaks and baked potatoes!

A Birthday Celebration That Was Not Up to Par.. I went there for the first time recently to celebrate my Mother-in-law's 65th birthday. The host seated us promptly and the beet was frosty cold, despite the server taking a great deal of time to bring the drinks. From the heavily rusted outdoor furniture to the poor service, I was greatly disappointed. I ordered the Kobe ribeye and I tasted no difference from a regular rib eye. My father-in-law sent his overcooked steak back while my Mother-in-law ate her overcooked steak without complaining. When the server was asked if they had any dessert available to celebrate a special birthday, her answer was "no." It would have been nice if she had actually asked whos birthday it was and wished them well. I felt the service was very cold and unprofessional. I will not be returning and I regret not asking to see the manager to speak about the many problems. I didn't want to create a scene on my husband's Mother's special Day. This restaurant would have a great potential if they were to clean the place up and give a refresher training course to the servers who seem to need it.

verry busy. Delicious steaks and food... good atmosphere,welcoming smiles...enjoy going their with my children on special occasions.....Prices are average for a good steak house in the Albuquerque area ...good locations but avoid Friday afternoon and night..

User review by janietm. Love their steaks, but everything is always excellent! We go there regularly for dinner or just an appetizer and drinks before seeing a movie and have never had a bad meal or bad service. And the price is comparable to other high quality restaurants in Abq. (not high, but not cheap either).
