My husband and I have been eating at Golden Pride since we moved into town and loved the food. However, two times in a row they have forgotten items in our order. Today, they RUINED my morning. After realizing that they forgot an item AND screwed up another order, I went back

The MANAGER treated me HORRIBLY! Acting as if I was LYING TO GET A FREE $4 BURRITO! I have never in my adult life been treated so horribly by a restaurant. Especially after I drove home, and went all the way back on my early Sunday morning. I will NEVER return to this place or any of their Golden Pride/Frontier restaurants. Whoever owns this business; wise up. Hire competent and respectable people. No rude, accusatory jerks who drive away business.

What should you expect from a chain?. Every time we ask someone where you can find some good fried chicken in this city people always say 'Golden Pride!" Which seemed the same as if someone recommended KFC to me. However, after hearing about how great the breakfast burritos were supposed to be we thought we'd check it out. The Breakfast Burrito was pretty average, a little dry (I like my eggs a little juicier) and the fried chicken was pretty good...for what it was. Definitaly better than KFC It seems like Albuquerque is sorely lacking Restaurants that can make a mean burger (thicker than newspaper) and some home cooked fried chicken, too bad. I guess that means Golden Pride chicken will have to fill the urge for now.
