Great for kids

by iroberts at Citysearch

This museum is on a much smaller scale than the one in New York City. It is really geared towards kids, but will keep adults interested, too. There's a nice rocks and minerals exhibit. You can walk through a simulted volcano. I had visited here 11 years ago and revisited two weeks ago. Some of the interactive displays were not well maintained and were not functioning properly. Otherwise, it was good and there were some new exhibits.

  • Pros: Good parking, near other attraction
