When 'doing old town' go somewhere else.... This restaurant has been taughted for years for it's margaritas and drinks... On date of visit 2/05 all drinks (except the bottled beer) were lousy, watered down and tasteless. Salsa and chips came right out of New York's finest... very poor quality. The 'New' Mexican dishes... well let's say we have had much better at fast food joints. Other entre's by our 5 guests ranged from bland to really bad. Service was good but that was it. Oh by the way, when the hostess opened the door she conveniently shielded the red sticker on the door. Restaurant is a 'do not recommend'.

Eclipse at High Noon. We were accomodated after a short wait on a busy Friday night. The adobe dining room was handsom, but our waiters unctuous demeanor was not. After slow, mediocre, and poorly paced cocktails, appetizer, and salads, our main courses arrived. The smoked elk yielded a distinctly moldy taste and my wife strongly concurred. We were told, in a singularly rude and pointed way, that there was nothing wrong except for our plebian palates. We have dined out extensively and exotically in our 50+ years. R..., our waiter, contemptuously tossed candy and the check at us for his finale. Cost of the elk grudgingly refunded, yes - an appology made, no. Compliment: the water girl was endearingly ernest. Fortunately, a walk through the yule bedecked Old Town area served as an intermezzo to the rest of the evening.

Fantastic. Great location, beautiful interior, friendly staff and best of all great food. This is top notch with a great selection on their menu and a truly relaxing and romantic ambiance.
