A "Must Visit" locals bar.
Everytime I'm in Abq Molly's is on the list of places to visit. My "big time" Hollywood types that visit there with me occasionally can't believe the ambience of a real down to earth fun place. No cover charge & drinks are reasonable. They pass the hat for the band and most folks toss in some bux. Owner is Romeo -- knows everyone & very gracious. This is not your typical bar at all. Only go there if you want to have a good time. Real diverse crowd; business execs, secretaries and bikers but everyone is one big family at Molly's. Don't miss the trail rider pizza that they'll deliver right to your table.

Wonderful Place!.
Molly's is a place for folks to go to when they want to unwind and rid themselves of pretentiousness, facades, and any type of act that you usually find in the normal bar scene. Molly's is not your “normal” bar…Thank goodness… Molly's is anything but, a "normal" bar. I must admit, my first time there, yes, I was a bit amazed at how crowded it was, how the folks there actually knew each other by first name, how the staff welcomed you with open arms, how the patrons also welcomed you with open arms...but as I said, Molly's is not your usual place, so don't expect usual results. Instead, expect people that you meet there to be what we used to call “normal,” the everyday folks, next door, the people we all wish we could be more like in this world of uncertainty and artificial personalities.
The music is great at Molly's, they have an outside patio, open all year round, they have a pizza joint right next door (Trail Rider's) that deliver excellent pizza to Molly's or you can order to go, and the best part, they have responsibility and ethics...they continue to believe in closing the bar and doors at 9:00 pm sharp! Try to find that in another profit hungry bar near you...obviously, from as crowded as it is at Molly's every single night, the previous reviewer's comments are few and far between the regular patron's love for Molly's!
Check out Molly's and see for yourself

Pretty Cool Dive Bar.
I go to Molly's a few times a month. The bands are great! The place itself is a dump - needs a lot of work. I always have great service. The only time they get a bit slow is when the space is packed and the waitresses are having a hard time getting through the crowd. I think only women work there and they always have big smiles and are usually laughing with each other and the customers. The men's room is nasty - better to go mark a tree out back. As for the "dumpy brown haired" woman, I think she is the owner's wife, but I could be mistaken. She should smile as much as the waitresses and bartenders do. This is a great place and better in the summer when the patio is open.

Molly's.
Molly?s is a great place to go. Great Music and Trail Riders is very good. Romeo is always good for a laugh or to laugh at. His wife is the pitbull of the bar. Most of the girls at night are very good looking and nice. The locals are a trip to talk to and watch. My first time there was very interesting. All the tables run together. No one has a problem talking to each other or letting you know how they feel. I happen to sit next to a couple that were not happy with the owners and we heard all the stories about the bar. Something is always going on at Molly?s.

Best live music in the East Mountains.
A bizarre group of friendly locals gather in this bar. The music is generally great. Next door Trailer Rider Pizza is some of the best pizza around. Order from the waitress & your pizza will be brought to you. Best in the summer when the band plays outdoors. Famous people pass thru Molly's.
