Not What I Expected. This was certainly not the family restaurant that I had envisioned. Prices are decent, except for steaks. They were really high. This is a Sizzler's type restaurant, but the salad bar is one-time-only with an 8-inch plate. We were not offered a non-smoking seat, and that bothered the kids a bit. There was no service. Almost had to get up and find our server to get a refill on water. Food was also pretty slow coming to the table. Food tasted fine, but it wasn't super.

Wonderful & Unique Experience. I live up in New York and while I was on a driving trip through New Mexico I stopped in at K-BOB'S for a quick dinner and it was wonderful. I ordered a chicken fried steak and it came out perfectly. I loved every minute I was there. The atmosphere is great, the wait staff is so friendly and the owner even came up to my table and made a concerted effort to see how my meal was. I will definitely be taking another trip back to K-BOB'S. Bring them to the East Coast.
