35.130711 -106.589869I still love it.. Though the wait staff has definately changed, the food is consistantly good. Stick to the chicken, duck, pork and thai ribs. Best appetizer, Humas with lamb.
Who's Cooking in the Kitchen???. A week ago my boyfriend and I went to eat at Zea's. In the past it has been good but lately the service has been lousy. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp etouffe, him being from the South knows the quality of great flavor. He took two bites of it and stopped eating it. It was cold, no flavor, and who the hell puts green chile in a dish like that??? He was so disapointed and ended up having an upset stomach the rest of the day. The entree was comped but of course it had to be! The wait staff currently there are not very friendly or seem to be well trained in the restaurant biz. Get it together!!
Best Thai Rib's, great customer service. I have been eating at Zea's since it first opened and can only say that the atmosphere is great and the food is very different than any other restaurant in Albuquerque, the food is always excellent and the portions are like none other. Yes it may be more expensive than Bennigan's but well worth the cost. I have nothing bad to say and have never had a bad experience.
Will not go back....
My son (2 yrs old) and I stopped in for dinner, Friday evening about 5:30, and I was very disappointed! Zea potatoes - don't try them, they had to be sitting in a warming tray since lunch, the Friday Special - pork, was very unimpressive, dry and bland, the sweet potatoes were good but not real hard to drench in butter to keep moist. I should have ordered from the kids menu, the kids menu is cooked to order and was well worth it.
Great interior, staff was good, the food was memorable - for how boring and bad it was...
