Yum.
The owner, John, is the one who usually gets our order. He's a bit strange, but who isn't a bit quirky? The food, however, is divine. Try my favorite, pad-see-iw or the pineapple curry. Newcomers beware that ordering food "Thai Hot" is, as John puts it, "hotter than hell."

The Best Food, friendliest dining, and most cheerful place to eat in all of New Mexico!.
I was introduced to Thai Tip nearly 4 years ago. The food was tops, the service was great, and John was such a hoot! and that hot tea of his! So, when I moved home this summer, the first stop (well second) was at Thai Tip's for some of everything. The veggies are crispand colorful, sauces do amazing dances on the tongue, and the clientel is unusually friendly and willing to engage in casual conversation about favorite dishes. The menu is easy to read and explanations are readily forthcoming for the uniniated. It's difficult to choose one favorite dish. Perhaps it's the pineapple fried rice,or the curry, or . . .
I heartily suggest you order something to take home for lunch the next day. I always do. Yummy!

Better than what you get in Thailand.
This is the best Thai food I have had in the U.S. and is better than much of the food that I have eaten in Thailand. To say they use fresh ingredients is an understatement. Our curries had so much flavor and all the vegetables used were crisp like they had just been picked out a garden behind the restaurant. The chicken in my Mussaman Curry was nice sized chucks of tender white meat. The Thai Iced Tea was served in a large mug. Our meals were perfect, theres not much else to say. Great service, great food. This place knocks Orchid Thai out of the water.
