Hey a very good sushi bar that's open for lunch!.
Hey, an Albuquerque sushi bar that's open for lunch! Central Ave location, modern decor, fast friendly service, perfect sushi rice, very good variety to choose from, the food was prepared correctly, and priced fairly. And YES, I know real sushi having lived in San Francisco for 25 years, and tasting sushi from NYC to Hawaii. Understand I've only had lunch here twice (I'm an out of towner) so maybe the scene is different for evenings and dinner, but I have NO problem recommending this place. Check it out.

Awesome sushi, modern downtown setting, only place open during the afternoon!.
We are not from Albuquerque but this was the only sushi restaurant we could find that was open at 3:30pm on a Friday, all the other places didn't open until 5pm and we wanted an early dinner while we were in town. This place is an awesome, clean, modern setting in downtown Albuquerque, on Central, just past the movie theater.
The restaurant is small but modern with a small sushi bar. There were already three chefs there when we got there (probably getting ready for the Friday night rush) and we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and prompt. The restaurant was nice and cold inside which is how I like a sushi restaurant to feel!
The sushi and nigiri were all FRESH and tasty. The Happy Roll was a to-die-for mix of flavors. Prices all a tad above the other sushi restaurant but this was by far the newest and cleanest one we've been in in Abq.
