Awesome Place. I have getting my hair done by Rachel for 12 years and I have followed her where ever she works. Alchemy hair studio is by far my favorite location. I am always greeted promptly and with a smile. I am offered a beverage and magazines if I need to wait. If my stylist is running a bit behind the receptionist is always there to chat with.

The artwork is beautiful and the salon is decorated in vibrant happy colors. Everyone I have encountered at Alchemy is pleasant and fun to be around. I always walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks!

Becky will make you happy you found Alchemy!. Great atmosphere, they take care of you there. Becky does a wonderful job and listen's to what you want. She offers great suggestions and makes you look great!

Simply Amazing. Being a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the finest hair salons, I found myself at the door of Alchemy Hair Studio. From the moment I walked through the door I was enthralled with the beauty. Very sophisticated and artistic decore with a flare of comfort and fun. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and offered a beverage and reading material. I sat on the decco style sofa and watched as the customers and hair dressers fluttered by me, each with a smile on their face and a friendly 'hello.'

My hair dresser, Ray Cawley, who I later discovered is also the owner, came and greeted me and escorted me to my chair. I couldn't help but be distracted by the artwork on the wall as he consulted with me about my hair. Having crazy, unruly hair, I am always hesitant about the results. He listened to my concerns and we came up with a plan.

The entire experience was amazing. Ray and I chatted about philosophy, life and laughed our way through my appointment. Before I knew it, I was looking in the mirror at the best hair cut and color I have ever gotten in my life. (Again, I am very picky with my crazy cury hair). On my way out, I made sure to grab a couple of business cards and Ray thanked me for coming in. I, in turn, expressed to him how much I appreciated my experience at Alchemy with a promise to return.

Over the next few days, I began to realize what a difference it made in my life to feel beautiful. My confidence went up and the compliments on my hair were non stop. Unfortunately, I don't live in Albuquerque. I have, however, traveled to Albuquerque three times since then just to have Ray do my hair for special occasions; and will continue to whenever I have an important event coming up. What a delightful experience!
