Delicious food, high price. The food is great. The experience is neat. The staff was mostly really awesome. Lots of variety and delicious flavors. Good for a special occasion, but a little pricey.

YUM YUM YUM. I think slappo is a dumb b*tch. I live in New Mexico and enjoy the dining very much; as a matter of fact, my fiancee and I make sure to eat there once a month. The service is good, the food excellent, and has a fun, laidback atmosphere. All in all we give it 5 of 5 stars. So shut up slappo. Now.

Great food. This place makes eating out an event! I used to live in San Diego and went to the brazilian bbq in Gaslamp. But this one is much better!

For a Good Time. . .. Tucanos is the kind of special-occasion place whose very novelty warrants its high price. The salad bar is extensive and very good; the centrepiece, of course, is the skewers of meat brought to the table: hot, dripping, and decadent. The atmosphere, of course, is wonderful: loud, vibrant, very appropriate for large groups in a celebratory mood. This is the best kind of place for a birthday or graduation party-expensive, yes, but something everyone will remember.

Outstanding. What an outstanding experience. I have been here for lunch with business associates and for dinner with the family. The food is always excellent and the way the meat is brought to the table on big skewers is always entertaining. Large salad bar makes sure everyone has what they are looking for! It's always busy, but worth the wait. If you are looking for the best its here.

Ambundant tasty food with mediocre service. Basically this is a salad bar but some of the wait staff come through with cooked portions of meat and vegetables on skewers. They slice it off for you onto a serving plate and you transfer it to your own. The food is flavorful and well cooked. The staff is uneven in skills, sometimes you get good service other times not. The host/hostess seat you according to the wait staff's convenience rather than your preference.

The ambiance is loud. Loud music, loud conversation and a room set up to increase the din, not reduce it.

The Cream of Albuquerque. Recently I just left Albuquerque after graduating from the Air Force NCO Academy and the most remeberable place was Tuconos. I was told by many other's in my class who visited the restaurant, to show up hungry , and to be a Carnivore. The place is a little congested, but what good restaurant isn't. I tell you what; it was well worth it!! For the money it was well worth the full dinner price, and the service was well accommodating. I give them a 5 out of 5 star rating!!!

Service is bad. Previously the servive had been good but on 9-27-05 it was terrible and slow.

Good Food and Atmospher. It has been almost three years since I have been there, only becuase I have not been back to Albuquerque since that business trip, but I still get the craving to go back to that restaurant. If I ever am back in that town, Tuscanos will be my first stop.

I da know. Not as good i thought it would be. Cheap cuts of meat. This joint is for the uppity up crouwd. Stay home and eat frozen t.v. dinner.
