I come from the West Coast and I'm used to a much better Chinese buffet. I will never go to China Star again. A much better choice is near by, the "Evergreen Chinese Buffet" on Juan Tabo and Menual.
The Best Chinese Buffet. Always a very large selection. Always love the salmon and variety of shrimp dishes. Friendly service and attentive owner. Friendly to all ages.
If you like your Chinese food sweet. The food is abundant, but most things seem to be on the sweet side. The buffet is large, but we found the offerings to be bland. We thought the buffet was too pricy, given the quality of the food.
It's big, it's good, it's a buffet . . ..
China Star is, quite simply, the biggest Chinese buffet restaurant I have ever seen. The restaurant is well-organized, even though it is often crowded, and the decor is pleasant, making the restaurant feel more expensive than it is.
The buffet is well-stocked with a variety of Chinese dishes, and even some American and Japanese dishes. For those who don't really like buffets, there is also a Mongolian barbecue. The food tastes high-quality and fresh, and the price is reasonable.
