Will Not Return. Met a really nice salesperson who, upon our return, we were told was "out" for dinner when she was really just in the back room. Someone who stated they were a MANAGER assured us our original person would get her commission waited on us -- only paperwork. Our salesperson got their commission, but only half! When our bed was delivered, one rep tried to keep us out of the bedroom until we signed the "receipt" which also stated the furniture was in good condition -- turned out the frame was smashed so badly, the headboard wouldn't attach and the bottom cloth of the boxspring was torn. The side of the mattress was also dirty. Customer service gave me a hard time because I didn't call within 7 days (we were not yet living on the property and the damages were on the wall side). Finally someone did come (without confirming an appointment; we just happened to be here) but would only "fix" things -- no replacement despite the fact that we had never even slept on the bed! We had just bought our first home, but needless to say we will never return despite the fact that we have cash to spend on the home needs. After talking to some of our friends, we heard other "stories" about Mor. I made mention of our experience to our Realtor, who deals with a lot of people here in town. Hopefully, he will have a chance to speak with many people about Mor. I will be glad to share my experience with anyone who asks about a "Mor" experience. There are lots of other GOOD businesses who would hardly have to lift a finger to out-do Mor! We will NEVER RETURN! NOTHING was done professionally. I feel badly for the lady who spent lots of time with us, only to be SLAPPED IN THE FACE by a so-called manager. Now I know why it's called Mor FOR LESS!
Pretty sure the sales people judge by appearance. If you don't look like you drive a car that costs more than the mansion you should own, they're most likely not going to talk to you.
All the associates just stood around talking to each other or walking around staring at everyone. It was almost impossible to find help where we needed it.
Too bad they didn't know we "had" a very exceptional amount of $$CASH$$ we were going to use to furnish a new home. Their loss. Took our business elsewhere.
Worst customer service. They are good at getting you to buy something. But good luck with getting anything delivered from them on time or in the right colors. They will also try to deliver broken things. They do not comp you for their mistakes either. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Bad Delivery Service. The onsite service was good, friendly reps, but not overly pushy. The delivery was my bad experience. When the time of delivery was discussed I told them when I would be unavailable. They proceeded to try to deliver when I was at work. I asked them to set up a time when I could be there, they proceeded two more times to deliver when I was not able to receive my sofa, they would not notate it therefore sending out thier delivery crew 3 times when they knew I would not be home to recieve it. Finally on the 4th attempt I got my new sofa. It is good quality and I now enjoy it but it was a bad exp. with them and unless I can have someone pick it up for me I will not be purchasing anything from them in the future.
Poor Customer Service. Mor Furniture on Menaul have terrible customer service representatives when you call them on the phone. They are not knowledgeable, helpful, or curteous. I bought a sofa 2 months ago and have paid for their delivery service and still no sofa. The least they could do is waive the delivery fee. As a working class citizen of New Mexico and a paying customer we deserve a certain level of service. They should expect to give a customer a reason for late deliveries, a verbal apology for not delivering on agreed date, and talk to customers with a high level of curteous decorum. I will never buy furniture from Mor Furniture again.
