First and Last Time. I am new to NM and was walking by one day and saw this place. I stopped in and asked the girl at the front desk the cost of a men's hair cut. She replied with $38. I said fine and do you have any appointments on Saturday. She then gave me 3 different time options, so I chose one and said I'll see you Sat. When I arrived I told the guy cutting my hair that I just got out of the shower and had no product on my hair. He insisted on washing it again, fine. He then proceeded to check out my hair and asked what I normally did. I told him and also said that I was NEW to NM and had only been here 3 weeks and just stumbled across this place and thought I would give it a try. He said that he was thinking of razor cutting it- I agreed as I have had this done to my hair many many times. Never did he mention that there was an up-charge for this, and never have been charged more for this type of hair cutting style. He finished and he did do a good job, but when I went to check out the girl said $53 and some change!!! I said WHAT I was told $38. She just said well it says right here in our menu that it is $50 for razor. I told the guy I was new here and did he mention before he started cutting that there was an up-charge for razoring...NO...nor was I told that there was different prices for different stylists. So even if he had cut my hair with scissors it still would have been $40, not the $38 that I had been quoted. $50 for a MEN'S hair cut...that is ridiculous! My wife spends that and I know her hair is a lot more complicated than mine. Not to mention that the girl checking me out had no remorse and didn't seem to care that no one was informing me of any of these costs, that that's what I owed I there was no changing it. I told her that I would never be back and she didn't seem to mind. This seems like a great way to keep customers coming back doesn't it? HA! Don't waste your time or MONEY!!!

Don't waste your time and money.. I just had a haircut at Marysol's for the first timeand it will certainly be my last time. I thought Marysol would be a great place to get a haircut because of the good reviews they were given. The lady who I had an appointment with was very rough with my hair. She wet my shirt while washing my hair and I had to hold my own towel on my hair (dripping) to my seat because their towels are too small for my hair.

She didn't put any detangeling spray on my hair. So as she was combing my hair with her comb, she yanked the comb through my hair till the tangles came out. It was a rough experience and a big headache! Then she didn't style my hair. I know it was a hot day and all but come on..... I just wanted to get out of there so I left with wet hair. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money or time.
