Don't own up to mistakes

Although the carpet and flooring we had installed was done in a timely manner, the flooring people tore up a few of our baseboards and then we were told that they didn't do it. Can't people own up to their mistakes and responsibilities these days. Frankly, because of this, I would not recommend going to Floorscapes.
