This Gothic Revival-style chapel was patterned after King Louis IX's Sainte-Chapelle in Paris by an architect involved in the restoration of the original, and contrasts dramatically with the adobe of the rest of Santa Fe. But one piece is unique in the world: the spiral staircase, fashioned out of wood without a central support, nails or glue, by a mysterious carpenter who appeared when needed and disappeared after he finished. A great site for weddings!
